Lotteries programs are different from your standard Regular Giving program. They require a different approach to audiences, and where to buy media, and also a completely different approach to scripting and the all-important ask.

One advantage of a Lottery program is that this very difference is a strength – it expands the pool of donors and supporters outside of existing giver database. When handled correctly, can give continually expanding pool of new supporters who are prospects to be upgraded to a more profitable supporter giving program such as regular monthly donors, or VIP (monthly automated) Lottery players.
